Corona Virus Disease ’19 Clinic Update

To Our Omaha Family Dental Patient Family,

At Omaha Family Dental, we value the health of our patients, team members, and families and take our job protecting them as one of our top priorities. Due to the COVID-19/Coronavirus updates in the state of Texas, we want to reassure you that we are doing everything we can in ensuring protection and safety for our patients, team members, and families to help prevent the spread of the virus.

As healthcare professionals, we practice universal infection control precautions on a daily basis through our infection control protocols and standard of care. This is done through disinfecting our treatment rooms and public surfaces, always changing gloves and masks, sterilizing any and all instruments, changing all plastic barriers between patients, and continuing to follow infection control guidelines as per the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and the American Dental Association (ADA). This is always done for every single patient and every single appointment.

Due to the increasing concern with COVID-19, we also screen every patient and would like to ask if you or any family member in your household are experiencing any flu-like symptoms, fever, a persistent dry cough, or have travelled to areas outside the U.S. that are known to be high incidence areas for COVID-19 within the last 14 days to please let us know so that way we may reschedule your appointment for the safety of our patients, team members, families, and community.

We are continuing to monitor any updates on the COVID-19 virus and continue to follow the recommendations by the state of Texas, OSHA, CDC, and the ADA. To learn more about the ADA recommended dental practices in regards to COVID-19 and how you can stay healthy, please visit:

We would like to sincerely thank you for your understanding and patience during these difficult times as we work to continue to provide dental care for our community in the safest way possible according to universal infection control precautions. We will continue to keep our patients as our top priority and will inform you of any changes and updates.

We are sincerely thankful and grateful for all our patients who chose to trust us with their dental health and look forward to seeing you!
